Service Description
Our Stomach Strip Waxing service focuses on removing hair along a defined strip from the top of the underwear line to the belly button, providing a clean and contoured look. Please note that this service does not include the full stomach area. Pre-Care Guidelines: Hair Length: For effective waxing, ensure the hair in the treatment area is at least 1/4 inch (approximately 0.6 cm) long. Refrain from shaving or plucking for at least two weeks prior to your appointment to allow the hair to reach the optimal length. Skin Preparation: Cleanse the stomach area thoroughly before your appointment, removing any oils, lotions, or perfumes. However, avoid applying moisturizers on the day of your wax, as they can interfere with the wax's adherence. Avoid Irritants: Steer clear of strong skincare products, such as retinoids and exfoliants, a few days before waxing to reduce skin sensitivity. Sun Exposure: Limit direct sun exposure and avoid tanning for at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to prevent increased skin sensitivity. Aftercare Recommendations: Soothing the Skin: Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer or aloe vera gel to the waxed area to soothe and hydrate the skin. Avoid Heat and Sweat: Refrain from hot showers, saunas, intense exercise, and swimming for at least 24 to 48 hours post-waxing to prevent irritation and allow the skin to recover. Sun Protection: Protect the waxed area from direct sun exposure for at least 48 hours. If sun exposure is unavoidable, apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen to prevent irritation and pigmentation changes. Clothing: Wear loose-fitting clothing for the first 24 hours post-waxing to minimize friction and reduce the risk of irritation. By following these pre- and post-waxing guidelines, you can ensure a comfortable experience and maintain the smoothness of your skin.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: We kindly request that you reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of 30% of the scheduled service price. Please note, a cancellation policy is enforced for all services. The business reserves the right to charge a fee for no-shows or if you arrive late for your appointment. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled, and you may be subject to the cancellation fee. The application of this fee will be determined at the discretion of the business. A cancellation fee will only be charged if the policy is violated. There will be no charge if you arrive on time or cancel within the 24-hour window. Once the service is completed, you will be expected to pay the full price of your appointment, provided no policy violations have occurred. Arrival Instructions: I am located inside Simplicity Spa Suites (We are between the Bike Store and the Donut Shop). For your safety and privacy, the door will be locked at all times. Please call or text upon arrival, and I will promptly open the door for you.
